WELCOME NEW STUDENTS!

Whether you are new to dancing or you’ve been dancing for years, at D2 Dance Studio we provide you with a fun and rewarding experience through our dance classes and social dance events. We offer group classes and workshops in partner dance styles such as Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba, Zouk, Tango, Hustle and more, from beginner to advanced levels.

We’re proudly located in Vancouver’s popular Mount Pleasant neighbourhood. You’ll find us at 55 West 8th Ave, nestled between Main St and Cambie and near Olympic Village. Conveniently close to many of Vancouver’s best coffee shops, cafes, restaurants, and craft breweries, we love our location and we love being part of the community of bustling new businesses in this charming neighbourhood.

Do I need a partner to attend class? Not at all. You’ll dance with lots of different people in classes. Some students come to classes with a partner, whether it be a friend or significant other. But the majority of people who attend dance classes come on their own. Some have significant others at home who don’t share their interest in learning to dance, but many single people of all ages attend dance classes as it’s a terrific way to socialize and meet new people.

What if I have two left feet and no rhythm, can I still learn how to dance? Yes absolutely you can, and we can help you! Our instructors include many of Vancouver’s best dance teachers, who are dedicated to creating a teaching environment that is not only fun and encouraging, but also challenging and fulfilling.
